i'm sorry that i've neglected xanga for so so so long. SOOOOO much has happened since i last posted and i really do feel too lazy to talk about it all now. =) maybe i'll get to it...

in the meantime, i just wanted to inform you that...I FINALLY GOT A FACEBOOK!!! so add me please!! i need some friends. took me long enough to figure out what my SCU email account was.. OH! btw, it's CTaguma@scu.edu! so please send some emails too. Packages are nicer, but i havent figured out what my mailing address is yet, so that'll come along later..maybe when i update you on what i've been up to since April XD.

My first day of COLLEGE was this past Monday, September 18th, 2006, and to tell you the truth, i really really felt like i didnt belong at this school at all. I've never NOT had friends every which way i turned. People seemed so hostile, and there isn't an asian in sight (not to be racist or discriminating or ANYTHING). But it's the second day already, and i've had STEVE NASH (MVP of the NBA) and BEN LEE (some Australian singer) come to my school to talk/perform for us and that was THE SHITTTTTT. Steve Nash is an Alumni from SCU and it was his first time ever coming back to talk to us so that was pretty AWESOME, i must say. The Ben Lee concert was actually my first concert EVER and that was also AWESOME cuz we got to get REALLY close to him. The best thing yet is that i've finally made some friends, and my roommate is amazingly friendly. Parties here aren't that bad either. they just get broken up REALLY EARLY. stupid cops. But alas, i must start my homework because i have yet again started another year of school.

I wish all of you who are returning to school a GREAT year of learning, sharing, and memory making! For all of the new college-goers like moi, GOOD LUCK!!!! It only gets better. =)

so one year and three days ago i donated 13 inches of hair to Locks of Love. it's scary to think back to just how long my hair actually was. and how short it was after the CHOP! heh, i think i will never have super long hair ever again. EVER. same goes for super short hair. i looked HELLA ugly. [[go back to April 21, 2005 to see the pics]]

so one month and one week ago i finally turned 18, legal adult status. i don't feel a day older than 16, and i certainly don't act or look 18. me? 18? nahhhh.

so one week ago i had my heart broken. but i came to realize that it is actually a quite common experience - a growing experience. it happens to a LOT of people, and i'm just one of many. it made me realize how wonderful my friends really are. how considerate the world, my world, actually is. without you guys, i wouldn't be the happy-go-lucky, always-smiling girl i am today. you guys keep me ticking, give me the warm fuzzies, and brighten even the gloomiest of days. and so i thank you and give you cyber hugs and kisses!! =D

so one day ago was Olivia's 18th Birthday, so i hope you wished her a happy birthday! I love you Livvie!!! *mwah!*

TODAY is Senior Panoramic picture day. it just reminds me that the end is near. i'm happy yet sad, but something else is on my mind...

TODAY is also CMEA! my last CMEA as part of an orchestra. i'm kind of sad that adam cancelled the Symphony Orchestra CMEA thing, but i didn't exactly want to stay at Saratoga HS til 10pm because...

TODAY is also the start of Key Club District Convention 2006!!!! (April 21-23) 3,000+ Key Clubbers from our district, California-Nevada-Hawaii, all together for Convention. AHHHHH!!! I'M SO EXCITED to see all of my friends again. Division 17/34 is going to ROCK THE HOUSE, or the San Jose McEnery Convention Center anyways. haha, yeah yeah convention isn't in sunny and warm Long Beach like last year, but wheeeee!!! CONVENTION IS CONVENTION AND IT IS ALWAYS A BLAST!!! go next year if you can!! =) OH MAN, at the end of Convention, my term as Key Club President has OFFICIALLY come to a close. how depressing!!!! ahhhhhhh. i really enjoyed being Key Club President this year. it really helped me learn a lot about myself, as well as helped me develop a lot of skills that i'll need in life.

[[edit! 4/15]] OMFG, i don't know HOW but the Warriors beat the Dallas Mavericks AND the Phoenix Suns!!!! WHAAAAT?! Also, the SF Giants are 6-3, leading the West of the National League! Wow, that sure brightened my day yesterday!!

edit: San Francisco Giants season has taken off and i'm SO excited!! (currently 3-2) i'm already planning on going to TWO games at the end of this month. how exciting!!
